About
This program prepares peer supporters to offer compassionate, respectful, and reliable non-medical support to individuals and families. Participants learn how to listen without judgment, communicate clearly, protect confidentiality, recognize the limits of the peer role, and respond appropriately when safety concerns arise. Grounded in dignity, independence, responsibility, and accountability, the course helps supporters build trusted relationships while knowing when and how to connect someone with additional care or emergency services.
